Maxmart is a modern supermarket with outlets in Accra (2), Sekondi-Takoradi, and Tema.

Maxmart's most central Accra store is located slightly north of busy Akuafo Circle. Maxmart is a two-storey building, with the ground floor used for groceries, a meat & bakery section, and a small pharmacy, while the second floor is a small department store & coffee shop.

The ground floor section features both local & imported groceries common to most westernized supermarkets, including confectionery, toiletries, and dairy & frozen food.

Additionally, a bakery, with fresh breads & pastries is open to the rear of the store, with a fresh meat section adjacent to the bakery. Furthermore, the pharmacy is open at the very front of the store, while newspapers & periodicals are available adjacent to the checkout.

The second floor includes a cozy coffee shop that overlooks the entrance to the building (complete with plasma screen TV), and sections for specific items such as toys, white goods & appliances, entertainment, and a remarkably well-stocked cosmetics section.

Maxmart includes on-site parking, and is open from 9am until late (often around 10pm).
